Presidents Day WINS Race 12 at Remington Park

Presidents Day finishes strong to win Race 12 during Remington Park's season opener.  Owned and trained by Harvey Baeza, and ridden by Berkley Packer, tonights win brings Presidents Day's lifetime earnings to $62,147.  



Valeriano Racing Stables Wins at Sunland Park

In his first race of 2014, Public Enemies finished 1st in the Saturday afternoon race at Sunland Park.   Ridden by Alonso Rivera, this was Public Enemies second time to stand in front of the camera for the win photo.  His earnings are now at $30,933.    Owned by Valeriano Racing Stables LLC, Public Enemies is sired by Valiant Hero and out of Daring Difference.  

Abra Cadabraa Returns To The Winners Circle

A and F Racing LLC, John Argoitia and M. Fotou cheered on their gray filly to another victory today at Sunland Park with Jaime Leos in the irons.  Abra Cadabraa, a 2009 model by Feature Mr Jess and out of the Dashing Chavito mare, Shes A Magic Juan,  kicked clear in the 4th race to win by 1 1/2 lengths.     Todays win returned Abra Cadabraa to the same winners circle where she broke her maiden on her very first out.    Under the guidance of Harvey...

Another Powerful Win for Owner James Baucom

Three year old, Pjs Gonna Ro ran a powerful race on 11-9-13 to bring in another win for owner James Baucom. Once again piloted by the talented jockey Jesse Levario, the New Mexico Bred gelding forcefully strided down the center of the track for a two length lead over the rest of the field.

PURDY NEAR PRIETA Breaks Her Maiden at Zia Park

Elizabeth Canda's filly, Purdy Near Prieta, broke her maiden October 28th at Zia Park.  Purdy Near Preita  broke clear and after a brief dual with Chick Stolen Wagon, prevailed to win the Five Hundred and Fifty yard race with Jesse Lee Levario in the irons.  

Longshot Out-Strides the Field

On 10-23-13, owner James Baucom celebrated a second win for his talented two year old Booyah Bay. Going off 24:1, the Brookstone Bay gelding broke into the inside to quickly gain stride for the win with Jesse Levario in the irons.

McClures Celebrate Back to Back Wins at Zia Park

Bob and Sissy McClure's homebred filly Sissys Tres Girl won her third consecutive race at Zia Park on 10-20-13. Piloted by champion rider Esgar Ramirez into a headwind, the bay Tres Seis three year old , added a 96 speed index to her already impressive resume.

In the following race the McClures returned to the winners circle with their handsome black gelding Bye Bye Jack. Steadily urged by Jesse Levario, the handsome three year old broke out on top for the win.

Consecutive Maiden Wins for Dam Racing on Labor Day Weekend

Sired by multiple graded stakes winner, Country Chicks Man, Brilliant Sun broke his maiden for owners Dam Racing at the beginning of Ruidoso Downs Labor Day Weekend on 8-31-13. Handled by up and coming jockey, Tanner Thedford, the three year old gelding overcame a bumped start for the victory at 350 yards against a talented field.

Burning Regard Breaks His Maiden at Ruidoso Downs

Bob & Virginia McClure's homebred colt, BURNING REGARD broke his maiden at Ruidoso Downs on 6-28-2013.  The Chicks Regard son broke on top from the inside and never looked back while being hand ridden by champion jockey Esgar Ramirez.  The proud Owner-Breeder team now has him paid into the John Deere Challenge Trials on 7-19-2013.
